LED filament lamps can now reach the same outputs of their traditional GLS counterparts this is thanks to the latest technology with the filament design. Inside each LED lamp "emitters" look the same as the filaments. These emitters are powered using a traditional glass circuit which is fully insulated and is similar to that found in the traditional incandescent bulb. They provide massive energy savings and yet they can reach outputs matching the GLS wattage, 25W up to 100W. The end result is a lamp/bulb that functions and looks virtually identical to an incandescent lamp.
The filament LEDs can be made in all the traditional shapes and in a variety of colour temperatures, from super warm 2200K, up to the standard warm 3000K, then getting more daylight (4000K) and ending up with the Cool White temperature of 6500K.
Their closeness in appearance to the traditional incandescent lamps make them ideal and perfect for nearly all venues such as restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels, high end retail stores, our homes, work places and so on. They are soothing to the eye and come in standard or dimmable options.
